Dealing with Angry Exhibitors or Parents
“When I first started judging, I thought I would please everyone. Obviously, that does not happen. As a matter of fact, I have had folks mad at me after a show that had the grand champion because I did not talk their animal right or maybe they thought they should have won more with other animals. It is the nature of the game. In most cases, I do not get confrontational. Just listen and try to again give them your thoughts, but in most cases just let them vent. I could tell several stories on this subject just like most all judges.” – Jack Ward
